That Lovely Bush

I was just reading something that reminded me of this lovely flower bush my mom had on one side of her house. It had dark green leaves and the flowers were purple and yellow. They were lovely. I never picked any of them, just admired the bush when I would walk by. Years later I found out this was a nightshade bush and was poisonous. There are about 100 species of nightshade and not all are poisonous.

But the one your Mother had was poisonous huh..good thing you never touched it I guess..not sure if that could be poisonous to do so.
I have heard of Bella Donna..the Nightshade being poison.

Yes, it would have been. Something about poisons they always seem to have pretty flowers.
