Can you still remember Tarzan's cheetah in the 1930s and 1940s? It died at the age of 80. There some undersea creatures can live more than a hundred years old, such as seychelles giant tortoise, clams, etc. Did you know that there is a type of small jellyfish that can make his body young again? The "immortal jellyfish that can regenerate its body to stay young. It is also called "turritopsis dohnrii." Have you ever owned any animals that survived a very long time? Image Credit:

I had two cats who lived to be twenty-two years old, and one who made it to ninteen. For cats, that is a long life.

@Shavkat Not uncommon. We had a dog who would've passed on his own, had my mom been able to tell him it was okay to let go. Lying to her about the true nature of his passing, was the hardest lie I'd ever told. I came clean later, because I didn't feel good about it.

@kaylachan I can feel you. White lies can always make us feel guilty. Despite not wanting to hurt others' feelings,.

@Shavkat The sad thing, my sister asked me to lie so my mother wouldn't be angry with her for putting the dog down.

I must say that I wanted to have a cat. However, my fur babies will be furious for seeing one. I guess cats can live longer than dogs.

I never owned animals before. I now have this cat (Gevi), but I know that he will not live many years. He wants to stay outside, outside cats have an average life of 7 years.

I wondered if my Shadow cat still living in my previous neighborhood. I lost him and run from that place before. Our longest dog that lived for a long time is the mixed breed one for 16 years.

@LadyDuck I am also not sure if he became a stray cat. I hope my fur babies here will live longer than that.

I haven't owned such animals. There are some under water deep sea animals that can regenerate and live for long.
