I got to listen to a talk about ways to learn...The speaker mentioned that there are factors to consider when learning...They can be the personality style, cognitive style, age and environment.But the most important thing to consider when learning should be your motivation. It can be instrumental, intrinsic or integrative.Instrumental is you think there is a function why you learn a particular skill.Intrinsic is you learn something because you just enjoy doing it.And integrative is you learn something because there is a need for you to use a skill in a environment you are in such as learning a certain language.During the talk, highlighting using different colours was discussed.
