I had a lovely evening at María´s home. / myLot

Marco, her son, came to pick me up at 4 pm. I wore a very thin dress because the heat was too much. I forgot to take a sweater just in case but I didn´t need it. She had made blueberry muffins (delicious) and homemade buns. She gave me some buns and muffins to bring home so my breakfast tomorrow will be awesome. We talked of things that happened a long time ago mixed with others that are now happening in our lives. I also took home apricot jam she had made. I´m very happy for that because my poor apricot tree finally died this year. This is the first year in over 25 years that I don´t have apricots to make jams for Christmas.

Now I´m going to watch the end of the movie I was watching early. I had to clean the kitchen before going out as I saw an ant on the sink so I did not have time to finish it. It´s late now. See you tomorrow.

I am glad to hear that you had such a nice visit with your friend. You are having really warm weather, and we are having below zero weather. The furnace is running non stop here, very cold.

@marguicha It's fine as long as we don't have to get out in it, but some days we just have to. Normally I don't mind winter that much.
