Monday Night Notes & Crystal Trees Collage

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I am about to head to bed to get some sleep. Haven't heard if there is school or not tomorrow. I doubt the roads are much better, but because the main roads have probably been plowed there will most likely be school. Not ready to get up before 7 AM and deal with the nasty side roads! Anyways - here is something Eli and I worked on today while he had another day off. Sort of a science project; but it was a gift from a friend of mine. The picture in the bottom right corner is how they started, top right is after 30 minutes, and then the bigger picture is after the full 8 hours. They are supposed to be fully bloomed in 6-8 hours. It was a very interesting project. Eli thought it was very cool to see the colorful crystals grow on the paper tree. Have you done something like that before? What do you think of the project?

No I have never done anything like that before but it looks like a lot of fun to do with a child. And they are pretty also!

That's very cool. I remember crystal growing kits many, many years ago. Have a good day.

Glad you think it is, he had fun with it. School was back in session, Eli stayed home though because he has a cold with a really bad cough, didn't think he need to be going out in negative 4, but feels like negative 10 degree weather!
