We Got Ice

Last night about 8:30, I began to hear pelts on the roof. So, I got up and looked out, my jeep was covered with ice. So yeah it's really cold.. We have power, so I'm cooking dinner at 5am. I notified my two sons in California that we were ok, and we had everything we needed. So soon as my dinner is done, I'll be headed back to bed. It's supposed to warm up some. So you all have a good day. Stay warm.

No it was terrible. Sun melted some, but shaded places are still iced over.

I know this cold and ice and snow are bad,I am used to it and our houses are well equipped to deal with these conditions,today its 30 below cel feels like- 42c So as you can guess I'm not going out if I don't have to.but my place is nice and warm. Trying to think on the bright side remember bugs don't like cold,so it should kill the flu bug.

Ice is bad news. I hate the cold and s**w; but ice is really dangerous and has a tendency to cause power outages. Have a good day and stay warm.

Brrrrrr. You're making me feel cold just reading this post.
We haven't had any snow here, and it's actually sunny out! But they're having snow in Scotland and the North of England. I just hope it doesn't come down to us!
I'd be too tired to cook dinner at 5:00am! I think going back to bed is a sensible move!

Did you mean 5am or 5pm? I'm sure you enjoyed your dinner. It's cold here too but not freezing.
