Yesterday in the news this story was issued:
Kim Davis is the Rohan County Kentucky chief deputy clerk who in 2015 refused to issue a same-sex marriage license to a gay couple due to her religious beliefs. She feels that a real marriage in the eyes of her God is between a man and a woman. She did this despite a U.S. Supreme ruling that legalized same-sex marriages.
The decision that was filed on December 28 said that Davis has to pay David Ermold and David Moore $246,026.40 toward their legal fees, and $14,038.30 for expenses. A total of $260,084.70. She was also ordered to pay $100,000 in damages.
Judge Bunning also added in his decision, "They sought to vindicate their fundamental right to marry and obtain marriage licenses, and they did so."
Homophobic people are so ignorant. I think that these religious types need to understand the realism that just because two people are of the same sex doesn't mean they should not have the right to enjoy romantic love for one another.
When you take the side of hate you end up a loser.

You are absolutely right! The other point is that NO ONE has the right to force their beliefs on others, except if it is in the case that the person's beliefs is harmful to the person they are trying to force it on.
