Peter Schickele died on Tuesday at his home in Bearsville, N.Y. He was 88. He wrote serious concert music but also comedic parodies of classical music, which he attributed to his alter ego, P.D.Q. Bach, the fictional "only forgotten son" of J.S. Bach.

I saw that. He won five Grammys for comedy throughout his career.

Apparently he did the soundtrack for the film Silent Running.

@LindaOHio Not sure how much we got, but it's a lot, with the occassional flake still floating by. Not sure if that's new snw or just some flakes blowing off roofs and such. I'm also not a happy camper.
