Ahhh, the clouds and fog, what inspiration!!!

That sounds kind of strange coming from an artist of sorts, someone who gets inspiration and energy from fog and clouds. I will say that the cold doesn't help much, but I still am able to do a lot of designing and other work when it is dark and dreary. Today I did some cleaning in the bathroom, which was really needed. The cats tend to heave kitty litter like crazy for some reason. But it's their thing. I cleaned up nearly two pounds of kitty litter from the bathroom floor. I also scrubbed the base boards too. I don't know how they manage to get them so dirty, but they do so. The base boards that are so dirty are the ones across the room from the litterbox. It is totally amazing to me. But anyway I got them cleaned along with the bathroom floor and the carpets. I finished cleaning the bathroom and sat and had a hot cup of tea and tried to warm up. At the time that I did that cleaning it was 29 degrees outside, it was 8 a.m.! I sat with Petey warming himself on my lap and he was also warming me by laying on my lap. It was rather nice. At 9 a.m. I decided I should get going and finish my cleaning the floors in the apartment and get the storage containers of fake fur pieces closed up and put away in my closet. So, I hobbled into the bedroom and got dressed and followed through with those thoughts. I also fed the brats and did the rest of my "Cat Chores" (cleaning the litter box, changing their drinking water, feeding them their breakfast, and making my bed so they had a neat place to sleep.). I went on to fix some more tea and work on designs for teddy bears. That part of the day went by rapidly. I finished 4 different teddy bear designs and transferred them to template plastic so it was easier to trace the pattern on the teddy bear fur. I then cut them out and put them in their own containers. I sorted the fur and drew the pieces onto the fur and proceeded to cut them out with my single edged razor blades. I then fixed myself some lunch and after eating lunch I went back to work. One thing about designing new teddy bears, I name them. I name them for people that make an impression in my life. I named a 4 1/2 inch teddy bear "Tim" for a gentleman that has been a real blessing in my life. He gives me a ride to go shopping and helps me carry my purchases up to my 3 floor apartment. I have a 13 inch designed bear that I just finished doing the designing on, and am going to cut it out and cut out the prototype pretty soon. I am going to name it for a lady I met here on the Lot, like there are other bears in the works that will be named for others from the Lot. This little gal (she's going to be 13 inches tall) is going to be named "Celtic Eagle". I'll post the picture of the bear as soon as I get it finished. Hopefully it will turn out to be a real cutie. Thank you to all the friends that I have made on the Lot that are inspirations for bears. There will be quite a few pictures of fully jointed teddy bears posted on the lot of the bears that are named for the Lot members. Have a great Friday and a great weekend!!!
