They’re called brownie cookies but get this, on the package it said plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free, 100% organic, nut-free, can be eaten raw (??) all the things that usually scare people off, thinking they will not taste good. They’re in the refrigerated cookie dough dept and all you have to do is pop them in the oven at around 325 F for maybe 7-10 minutes. Some new company called Sweet Loren’s makes them. I have baked probably hundreds of cakes, cookies, brownies, you name it in my lifetime, and NONE of them have come out as delicious as these little guys. You know the lava cakes from Domino’s? Kinda like those but a million times better. The middles are so chewy and gooey and you can keep them in the oven for as long as you wish, since they can be eaten raw anyway. I only did about 7 mins on 300 degrees. My dad was blown away too, couldn’t believe these were…… healthy. I kept passing them by at the store but they just looked so weird and different, had to go back and get them. I’m really glad I did. Have you ever seen these in stores near you? They are best right out of the oven you lazy Gemini Let me know if you can find them down there in FL! Also, let me know what happens if you eat one raw. It says you can. I’m tempted to try it. But I would love you forever if you tried it first.

@Melanie_Marie I eat raw cookie dough all the time Melanie, and I’m still mostly alive! I bought more cookie dough yesterday, and I didn’t see any Sweet Loren’s, so at least my local grocery store doesn’t carry it.

@moffittjc Hmm.. maybe they’re only a Michigan thing then. Or Midwest thing. I found mine @ Kroger. I think that’s why I was drawn to them in the first place. When a cookie package says, “Can be eaten raw” .. there’s just something so wild and dangerous about that. Like you’re breakin’ all the rules. Yet I still haven’t done it. Haha! Maybe I will.

Nope I have not heard of these. I usually do not eat too many sweets and when I do I get some pastries when I order my groceries,

They are, but I’ve been adding a little protein powder or crumbled up chocolate protein cookies to the centers before I put them in the oven now. There’s not much bulk to them at all and that causes my sugar to spike really fast, and then drop really fast. I’m hypoglycemic Thanks Judy - hope you find them! So good.

I think you’re right, or for the super clean-eaters of the world. You would never in a million years know these were organic and all that. I’ve made organic stuff before, and yeah it tasted organic and very, very, bland. Not these guys. Thanks @mildredtabitha

@Melanie_Marie I think you should ask them for the recipe the next time you go there.

@mildredtabitha No need to ask, Mildred.. ingredients right on the back of the package. They come pre-made, you just need to put them in the oven. Here’s how they look before you do anything to them.
