Getting Rid of Clutter is a Big Deal

May be it is my minimalistic habit or is it hopeful habit that I don't throw away old dress, old plates, cups , saucers. Old bags, broken chairs, discarded mobile phones, tape music players and two- in- one with transistor radios are still there in my store room. Somehow , I have a thought that any of these things can be of reuse. For example, I think I can give some of these old clothes to a poor person. One of these pullovers can keep a person warm through this cold winter.. I can use a broken chair to keep a flower pot on it. Who knows one of these old mobile phones or rape music system may be a curiosity in an exhibition. And so I have gathered a lot of such " valuables" in my computer room and in the space under the staircase. But , I was apparently compelled to get rid of a lot of clutter in the first month of 2024. I burnt some if it , some I sold to the " bhanga toota" collector ( broken goods collector). I got the old torn cotton mattresses repaired. The broken chairs have found some respectable place in the flower garden . I have some iron goods which can be sold out to the collector. Some collectors do make money out of this business. By the end of this month I hope to make my house lighter and cleaner.
