The chess playing dog that I drew.

Here is the picture of the chess playing dog that I've drawn for the London Art Course.
I drew the chess pieces first and then drew the dog in behind!
Then I drew the dogs eyes and nose and drew the rest of him around them! I drew some curly fur on him and drew his ears in.
Then I drew his leg and paw in the position where he looks like he's playing chess!
I put some shading in. I shaded the chess pieces first, some darker and some lighter in retrospect. Then I shaded the dogs eyes and nose and then shaded in parts of his fur where they are in shadow, and shaded in the background.
I think he's just about finished. I might add a few finishing touches to him.

It’s cold here in Kentucky, so I’ve stayed inside (except for a moment when I ran out and put the bird seed out for the birds and squirrels).
I love that drawing! Cute puppy could easily beat me in chess!

@sharonelton - We still have to go out this morning to get our weekly magazines.
It is very cold outside, I am waiting to go out around 11 am, when the temperature warms up a bit.

It's very cold out here today too. We've got a storm that started about midday when the wind picked up and then it gradually got worse throughout the afternoon

That's a cute drawing. Nothing much going on. We had 6" of s**w yesterday. It's going to be above freezing next week; so that will be nice. Have a good weekend.

@sharonelton What a strange concept!! I’m up to my eyes in packing cases. Was at Tesco this morning getting meringue nests over which shall be poured yoghurt, fresh raspberries and ice cream. It shall then be eaten.
