24 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from warm, foggy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA where the current temperature is 34 F and dropping. Though it won't get too much lower tonight. The fog in Green Bay isn't as bad as it is elsewhere. Tomorrow will be worse.
Today was a bit unusual. We had a death in the building. It's our third this month. This one happened at the elevator. She collapsed and either passed away in the ambulance on the way to the hospital or at the hospital.
Aside from that, it was a good day.
I'm thankful for getting up as early as I did, which was actually late for me, 4 AM. I just managed to be ready to leave on time this morning.
I'm thankful for the chiropractic appointment this morning. I didn't do the therapy, so it only took about ten minutes. I also made a later appointment time for the next appointment because my friend is not a morning person. My next appointment is in two weeks.
I'm thankful for the Bible study in the community room. It was a very good study on Peace. God's peace, not world peace.
I'm thankful for my neighbor, Missy's Mom, who asked me to go with her shopping today. It was good to get out of the apartment and get most of my steps as we wandered through the store.
I'm thankful I spent time with you today. I finally finished the notifications for the first time. With all the interruptions today, it took all day to get them finished. However, I also spent that time getting to know what you're doing in your world. Always a plus.
Okay, that's my day. No time for a book again today. I'll need to make time for it tomorrow. At least the only thing I have tomorrow is Canasta.

@snowy22315 I’m not sure why I got picked for sure because I really only wrote reviews when the product was really good, or really bad. I think one thing that might (and this is a big might) have helped is that some of my reviews were funny (on purpose, lol).
As for length and points to hit, I can tell you the instructions they give you once you join Vine, which might be what they are looking for overall. They want to know if you liked or disliked it, why, and if you would recommend it. If it works a certain way, go into that too. They prefer you post a picture of the product (although I never did this before I joined Vine).
Now, when it comes to how long, sometimes it just can’t be a long review. I have selected several pairs of earrings on Vine, but how many things can you really say about earrings? In that case, I probably wrote four sentences. But on the other hand, I selected a smart water bottle, and that was a good four paragraphs. Same with a smart portable blender.
And then the obvious to not say you like something if you didn’t, and don’t make any medical promises. I phrase it that way because they did. If you liked your vitamins, don’t say they worked well for you. Just talk about any smell, ease of taking, and if you were happy with them. They get really funny about that.

@AmbiePamHow long are your reviews? I guess you got picked forVvine because you wrote so many good ones. I do write reviews ocassionally...but if I am trying to go for Vine, how long should they be? How many points should they hit?

I am grateful that reports of severe thunderstorms that were supposed to hit my area were not that severe and the flood warnings that were scheduled to come never happened today.

Sorry for the deaths where you live. I am sure that was a shock to all who knew them.
A missionary we had a couple of weeks ago at church preaches about God's peace. It was a good message. There is no peace in this world.
I am thankful for my friends. God sure has blessed me with many whom I love dearly.
