A good start

I've read five books so far this year and am now on my sixth book. A good start to my 2024 reading year. I hope to read at least 75 books by the year's end as that's what I finished with last year.
What books should I read next? Usually, I just browse the shelves at the library and see what catches my eye. But sometimes I look for books from authors I've read before or heard someone talk about.
I don't have a specific genre in mind. Just something that will draw me in and I will not want to put down. Something that will make me feel. Something that will leave a lasting impression.

I doubt we enjoy the same types of books. I read a lot of Robin Cook and Michael Crichton books. I also enjoy true crime, historical fiction, biographies, etc. Have a good day.

Maybe I will finish book I am reading before Feb and my Jan total will be six books.
