I used to collect clowns, figurines of clowns, etc. I had to give them up due to downsizing a few decades ago. Now I collect mixed media supplies, paints, etc., houseplants, vinyl record albums (most were my mom's), and a small collection of small pretty rocks. Oh my, apparently, I have done this topic twice. Do you have any collections? If so, what do you like collecting?

I learned a long time ago why collect things that collects dust? that you inhale everyday, you dust them off it flies everywhere. That's why I never got into collecting things, for any reason I never got attached to things, cause I never had the chance.

Besides, the reality is that most collecting just wastes money. And it becomes clutter. To me it is pointless.

@porwest that's the same way I feel too that's why I don't collect things that collect dust & that's 1 thing I can do without in the cabin.

Using a feather duster with furniture polish on it helps prevent the dust from flying around,

In the past I collected papercuts for dogs and cats. Now I don't collect anything.

@capirani I used a wrong word. Just the photos, articles or news from the newspaper and magazines.

What are papercuts? I only know the kind of paper cuts that cut our fingers when we are working with paper.
