life update, and there's a LOT of it here.

This is the first time in a LONG time that I have felt like jotting anything down here. The last few months have been a whirlwind of a lot of things- health issues, and just stress. But some good things have happened too. I have been battling health issues for MONTHS and they haven't really gotten any better. In fact there's a big new one, that I may feel comfortable enough to go into detail here later. But right now, I am choosing not to share it with the whole world. A few of you have reached out to me and I appreciate it. @FourWalls and @moffittjc have been fairly good and checking on me, and they both deserve hugs or dinner at Chuy's or something for being such amazing friends. We also finally settled on a date for the wedding! We were supposed to have it two plus years ago and then COVID, Chris grandma getting sick and a host of other things happened and sidelined us. So a couple months ago he took me out to Westley house at Eden State Gardens and asked if I would approve of that place for us getting married. I said of course. So April 20th, we are going to finally tie the knot. Its a LONG time coming. We also lost Chris grandma last month. She got sick right around Christmas and the day after Christmas Chris' uncle went up to do his usual routine and go have breakfast and coffee with her and found her lying on the floor where she had fallen. They took her to the ER where she was admitted with respirtory problems, blood sugar of 500 plus, fluid on the lungs and a host of other issues. She spent a few weeks there and had several procedures done- including a vein clean out and the fluid taken out of her lungs. They transferred her to a care/rehab facility where she was supposed to remain until she got better enough to get home. Sadly she didn't ever improve and she died about a week and a half after she got to the rehab facility. Its a big loss for the whole family and it has really hit us all hard. Right after the first of the year we got a call that he child's birth mom was hit/struck by a moving vehicle going at least forty miles per hour. She was air lifted to a hospital and stayed there for a few weeks. She fractured several bones, and had some sort of head trauma, where they had to operate to keep her brain from swelling. She has been in Michigan for months. (That's a whole other story) She's back at the hosue she's been staying at up there. I don't really know what's going on at this point but I know that they found alcohol in her system when they got her to the hosptial after the wreck.... But she seems to be okay-ish. Anyway. I just wanted to stop in and catch people up. I will try to be around later. And get to notifications and catch up with other people, but I have a FULL afternoon so I don't know if I will be able to be here. Hope everyone is doing well!

She suffered for weeks in the hospital. So I don't really know why you would say she didn't have to suffer. I don't know if you have ever had fluid in your lungs- but I assure you it isnt good. And he was in pain.
