News about your government's corruption can lead to mental illness and lewd acts

An audit done by the GKNB on the content of an online newspaper in Kyrgyzstan, has found that the newspaper has a propensity to report on the government in a critical manner. This leads to readers losing hope in the future, getting mental illness and engaging in sexually depraved acts and drug taking. So in future if your news channel reports that your people in your government are inept, stealing money, are corrupt or are barely alive yet still drawing a pay or simply too old to do the job, then you better switch over to something that paints the government in a more positive light. That way your mental health will be protected and you will surely not engage in sexually abnormal behaviour or take drugs or try to commit suicide. Sometimes I wonder if we are really in 2024 and not time-travelled back to 1024
A court in Kyrgyzstan has banned an investigative reporting website on the grounds that its critical reporting is making the public mentally unwell and driving them to drugs and sexual depravity

I might agree with the mental breakdown..reading such nonsense, but lewd acts...hmmm that one missed me.

With so much of negativity all around, we need more of positivity in terms of content and news.

If I knew that my government was like that (which it proberly is) I wouldn't go doing those things! I hardly take much notice of news and politics anyway!
