George had a great night last night. While he still woke up soaked, he slept through the night. He also got up around seven, used the bathroom and came back to bed for another couple of hours. So, while he's still having issues while he's asleep, he's making it through the night and using the bathroom on a simi-regular basis. I asked him if he wanted to shower, but he declined that.
Hey. I got him to eat pudding three days in a row. He's using the bathroom more and not putting up a fight when it comes to his peg tube. I call those things a win. Plus he's starting to do little things like himself, too.

@kaylachan ......Sleep is where it's at. His body is still repairing itself. He needs all the sleep he can get.

@celticeagle That's what I keep being told. I know he did a lot of sleeping last week, and he was easier to understand. So, I'll take it.

I'm hoping after today, he has another solid night's sleep. All the extra sleep seems to be paying off and I'm noticing differences in his behavior. He's a lot more like himself and even tried to strike a conversation with our drivers.

Other than the fact we might see rain, which isn't a big deal, it has been so far. I'm glad I was able to get us going and back before anything hit.
