Petting Baby Crocodile

I have had a wonderful experience at the Crocodile Park in Dubai. The authorities have a baby crocodile held by a trainer and after you have sanitized your hands, you can pet the animal. it is difficult to imagine that this reptile when it grows up becomes so ferocious. However, the trainer will not take any risk because small children also pet the baby crocodile so a plastic clamp is put on his mouth but otherwise, it's pretty harmless. The crocodile park is a real delight with a natural museum and aquarium also part of the display. The baby crocodiles are kept apart from the bigger ones and I am told this is the method to rear them.

They did the same in Florida and New Orleans, they put a clamp on the crocodile mouth before you can handle the animal.

@LadyDuck I agree with you. Wild animals are wild animals. I remember reading about a crocodile trainer who used to for 5 years, put his arm in the mouth of a crocodile in Australia but one day the crocodile cut his arm and he lost his livelihood..
