If you are blind, spiders fly.

I have been listening with worry lately that spiders are flourishing with the heat. And as I was biten last year by a close cousin of the brown recluse (I still have the marks) when I saw a black dot on my bedroom wall I immediatly supposed it was a spider.
A black dot is nothing BUT a black dot, with or without glasses now. This week I´ll go to the eye doctor and will get new glasses. Meanwhile, anything is a dot and I´m glad that I know different languages as subtitles are blurry on TV.
But back to the dot. There it was, very near my bed. So I went sofly in silence to where I keep the spider spray (stronger than other for nicer bugs) and came back.
I sprayed the "spider" and it flew away. It was either a flying spider or a small mosquito
I hope that I will be able to save on pesticides once I have my new glasses. It will not only be a saving on Raid, but I will not have to bear the awful smell although they say the the "aroma" is nice.
I ate a duck and mayo sandwick for breakfast and now I invented a pancake filled with ice cream and Chantilly cream. I will be snacking all day today.
See you.
Now I´ll go read your posts before my nap.

Perfectly understandable why you would fear it being another spider after that bite last year.

I was lucky last year. It was a very nasty bite. It must have been a brown recluse´s cousin but not the real thing.

@Happy2BeMe The real brown recluse could have killed me. As it is, it left me a scar.

We don´t have mosquitos where I live. But we do have poisonous spides (the brown recluse). Garden spiders though are even beneficial. If they get into the house, they eat brown recluse spiders´ eggs.

@marguicha Oh my God! You seem to have a very good knowledge of the species and their habitats.

It was a tiny fly that flew away. I don´t know where it went, but it was well sprayed with Raid.

I´m not good at making pancakes any longer with my hands.
And I love them, savoury and sweet.

It will be easy. I only need new glasses. The last time I went to the eye goctor I had a horrid allergy and he would not give me glasses. He said it was like buying shoes with swollen feet
Then he gave me the most expensive ever eye drops and the allergy went away like magic.
