USPS has gotten to be REAL Snail Mail

I sent a brithday card to my friend in KY, from here in FL last Monday. Her birthday was Saturday. She didn't get the card until today, Tuesday! I think I could have ridden a bicycle up there and delivered the card in person quicker than the USPS delivered it. Sad. A few years ago, I could get a card up there in 3-5 days. It took 7 days!

It is the same way here with our postal service. I have sent cards within the same city and it has taken 3-4 days to get it.

Used to be slow getting from KY down to FL to my Mother, now it is opposite. LOL I see you are from Daytona..My grandmother lived there and worked at candy shop. Best candy I have ever had. No idea if they are still in business. She passed several years ago. My aunt has a Vegan Candy shop there, but have never tasted her candy. We aren't very close at all.

It is very unreliable. The routes do not make sense around here. I live in southern MS but to mail something to my kids or grandkids in Louisiana brings the mail up to Jackson, MS which is 2 hours north of me before it goes to Louisiana. Make sense? NO!!

USPS has slowed down to a crawl and they did it on purpose to save money. I do not understand how that would help them save money.

Our postal service has gone to the pack too. And now they're only delivering mail very few days instead of daily. Of course, no-one gets nearly as many letters as they once did.
