And now I don't have to stress again till May.
The appointment was okay. My doctor didn't seem too upset. Although he was confused why my cgm average was way different than my actual a1c. I'd prefer the CGM one to be correct. I knew the cgm was failing...
I'll share more about the lab work later when I'm on my computer.
I did lose maybe 1 pound in 4 months...that's not good.
He's upping my dose of mounjaro to see if that helps.
The doc seemed to be rushed today, maybe because he had a med student with him. I didn't really feel comfortable with that, but it is what it is...
What do you think of all of that?

@MommyOfEli2013 You didn't fail. You just had a hiccup. You will do better next time.

@MommyOfEli2013 One almost feels rude saying no. But it’s uncomfortable.

Not really, I need to work on giving up the carbs. Though I don't really want to

Even if the med student was there, they do have to learn how to act around patients, the doctor should not have been rushed, Alos I think he should have asked you if it was all right for a med student to be there,

I understand that, just rather them not be there during my appointments lol. I have a hard enough time with new people as it is. I don't think I even looked at the med student today.

What is a cgm? does that take a smart phone to use?
I just use the cheap finger poke & a test strip monitor.
I don't have any problem with that & it's easy to use.

CGM -continuous glucose monitor. You wear a sensor that sends the blood sugars to your phone, or a meter.
I am tempted to just go back to the finger test. But I probably would not check often doing that.

Glad the appointment went better than you thought it did. My doctor's office called to try and schedule me an appointment. I obviously didn't call them back. It's all the way in South Daytona and with George the way he is, I don't need to listen to someone complain about my health, like I'm an idiot. Though me going with George how he is might be funny.

Well only better in the fact he didn't lecture me, and didn't bring up the fact I should eat salad and/or veggies. Which will never happen
But my A1c went up a lot more than I thought it would.
I don't know the distance between where you are and there....but understandable about not going at the time being...
