See You in my 19th Life- My take

What is striking in the series, is seeing oneself at the core of everything happening in one's life, of the intertwining of lives like silk threads woven into a fabric, the fabric of life. Each relationship is a reminder that life is beautiful. The love - revenge innuendos of a forgiving heart undergoes a dynamic change when the protagonist sees how the pain in every experience connects with the self.
Initially I felt that Ban Je-Eum could have disclosed her identity, that of the dead elder daughter, to her mother in the last episode. On second thought I realized how carefully the director has chosen not to do so. The recognition might lead to her mother's demise or separation of sorts. Moreover she was on her journey to forgetting her past lives and the memories with her loved ones. So it's better to remain a stranger to her mother. That way she'd remain in touch with her mother.
The fact that memories of past lives are taken away from us right at birth is truly a blessing. The pain is immense. The series simply stands out as it rings the bells of gratitude in restless hearts.

Sounds like a very interesting story. But we only live once, so I have no past lives!

@LadyDuck I have always been discouraged from attending a PLR session. iI've heard that it has been therapeutic for many as it helped them get a clarity. It is said that memory is deliberately taken away the moment we are born so that we can make efforts to evolve. Despite knowing all this, I did attend a PLR session thrice, at three different places. The result? --- Once, in a group session, I fell asleep. In another session I was wide awake with my eyes closed, in another session I tried listening and following Sir Weiss but found I had fallen asleep.
