Today I had tangra fish curry and jackfruit curry. / myLot

Today I had tangra fish curry with rice. Tangra is a river fish and is tasty. I also had jackfruit curry. Jackfruit is eaten both as a vegetable and also as fruit. As a vegetable it is cooked with potatoes and other vegetables.

One day I shall have jackfruit. I can imagine it will be good with fish.

I like jackfruit, but never tried it with curry.

thanks Cheung the good thing is when it is spring the jackfruit is more in its less ripe form. In bengali we call it enchor. We eat it as curry and vegetable. Once it gets ripened in summer in May we eat it as fruit called kanthal.
