A successful day so far. / myLot

Despite almost sleeping in, I managed to get two out of the four feeds done. Managed to get some other things done, too. Have my second load of wash in the washer, and first load in the dryer. I feel like I've got a lot done. I want to run the dishwasher today, too. But, I have to wait for the washer to finish. I'm not looking forward to putting new sheets on the bed, but I enjoy sleeping in it after it's been freshly made. George seems to be doing a little more around the house, which tends to help me out in the long run. He's talking better, too.

That sounds like a productive and successful day! It's great that you managed to accomplish several tasks, from feeding to laundry. It's always satisfying to have a load in the washer and another in the dryer – a sense of progress. Freshly made beds do bring a certain level of comfort and satisfaction, even if the process of changing sheets might not be the most enjoyable. Overall, it sounds like a day filled with achievements and positive vibes. Anything specific you're looking forward to in the rest of your day?

Honestly, not really. I'm just chipping away in my office while doing the house chores I've planned. Once the second load of laundry is in the dryer, I can run the dishwasher.

I think the reward is worth the pain. And, It's good to know I can do it. Our foam mattress makes it a lot easier, too. I can lift the corner and hold it and with an innerspring that would've been impossible.
