On the 22nd I got an email saying that my Philo TV app payment didn't go through and I needed to update my billing information. So I went on the site and made sure my credit card was right, expiration dates, and all that. The next day I got another email and a notification on the app that I needed to do the same thing. I found this rather perplexing. On my TV it said I could pay it through Roku. It still didn't work. So I called them. The nice young man I spoke to said I could also pay my Peacock there. I found out from him that all that work I did trying to find a number for PeacockTV in January could have been solved by just calling Roku. (It did not say it anywhere.) I had no idea that they were connected. So I definitely got the Peacock thing taken care of. Back to the Philo problem-- I must have put my credit card in 2 or 3 times and went through all the updating and blah.blah.blah that I had to do. Geesh! So the young man said I needed to call my bank and take the hold off the PeacockTV situation so the card could be used. I did that and made the bank rep laugh when I tried to explain to her all of the stuff I was going through.
The ending to the whole thing was being told I had to wait an hour and then see if Philo updated and all was right with the world. It was and I even get a week's free trial again and the bill will then be due at the beginning of the month like I wanted it to be in the beginning anyway. And, the customer service was delightful. It's so nice when you know where to call.
Oh, my gosh what I do to be able to watch what I want to watch.

I know how you feel since this pay for viewing for television shows can be hard for the viewer to deal with the companies claiming that you paid was not accepted.

I get so nervous when I have to follow instructions and such. It does make me tired after all is said and done.
