Good morning.
Thanks to Chilly, I was up on time and gave George his morning meds. I also took my daily pill and gave Chilly his breakfast. I haven't done my workout for the day, yet, but I'll get to it. George's package I ordered for him from Amazon arrived while I gave George his first feed of the day. And, because I did the laundry last night (thanks to George peeing through all his pants) I am free to run the dishwasher, something I should've done last week. However, I'm getting to it now. With today being Monday, I'm not expecting any phone calls from George's home health team. I think this is the nurse's last visit unless the VA requests more. With as far as George has come, I think it won't be needed. I've been taking care of his feeding tube.
Well, guess I'm off.

It sounds like your morning has been off to a busy start. George has made some good progress if you think he won't need the nurse anymore.

It's not up to me as to weather he needs nursing or not. It's up to the VA and home health company. I've been trained by the nurses in rehab, as to how to treat and care for his peg tube. Nursing just was to come once a week to make sure meds weren't changed and he was recovering well.

Chilly has been real good about doing that. It's becoming a daily thing. I also find that if I don't lie back down after George's morning's meds, I sleep better at night and am not as tired in the morning.

@just4him As tempting as it is, I've realized there's no point. He's usually up, dressed and asking me to change his peg tube dressing within half an hour of me giving him his blood thinner.

@kaylachan I'm glad he is. I'm glad you aren't as tired in the morning when you don't go back to bed after George's morning meds.

Glad to hear that George is doing well. I have an Amazon package coming tonight and looking forward to the pudding and Dr Pepper Zero I ordered. I hope you, George, and Chilly all have a relaxing evening,

Chilly has made himself a foot warmer at the end of my couch. Or, I should say foot block.

He's doing quite well. He tried to tell me or ask me something but I don't understand.
