I Get So Imapatient

My daughter got a notice from the Jury Commissioner on 2/21 concerning jury duty that would begin on 3/25. After doing the quiz they had you do and my daughter answered with her being my caregiver. She is told that a medical release will sent for her doctor to sign to relieve her of jury duty. Because I knew if I didn't things would just stagnate into Nowheresville I took it upon myself to call the dr.s office and let the nurse know this was needed. (My daughter and I both have the same doctor.) She had my daughter bring the document down for the doctor to sign. My daughter did so on that same Monday. I waited all week and never heard a word. So, this morning(Fri.) I called the doctor's office again. Spoke to Lorie who said she would need to investigate the status of the document and call me back. That was at 9:30a. It is now 12:01p.
I am waiting as patiently as I can.
It seems that my M.O. is to go to the worst possible scenario when I have to do things or things happen to me. Ghees! I go bonkers when other people need to do something for me and I am sitting around waiting. I know I need to cool my heels. But this is the state and I always get nervous when such things come up. What if the paper(I put it in an envelope and wrote a short note explaining to the doctor) is lost? We have until 3/25 to get this into the Jury Commissioner. If we have to request another document because the office lost the first one I will be upset. Probably won't happen but, this is where my thoughts go.
I had my phone on charge. At 11:18a. I showed I got an incoming call from the docs office. A message lasting 20 seconds had come in. I listen to it and it is just ringing back to the doctor's office and then the usual automated announcement. How can that happen if the phone was on the charger? I see I had two missed calls at 11:17a. from the doctor's office. What?
What in the world is going on? I just want to get the document signed and sent back to the Commissioner.

What a hassle! It was actually done on the 26th of February but I didn't get it until 3/1. I posted about it.
