I'm having the other half for dinner.

Photo I took of the potato I'm having for lunch and dinner

I got a bag of potatoes from the food bank last week. There weren't many in the bag, because they were huge! That's a dinner plate that potato's on in the photo. It took extra time to cook, too. I had half for lunch, and I'm going to have the other half for dinner, soon. It's nice to be able to get food when you can't always afford it, and also food that will stretch for a couple of meals--or days--I still have another big 'tater in the fridge!

I just wish I'd had some cheese or bacon or something.

The last bag of potatoes I got from Aldi had several of those whoppers in it. They are huge! But I am glad you have food to eat, that's a good thing!

I went to a food giveaway on Saturday and got two 10-pound bags of potatoes, plus a bunch of loose potatoes.

You can also make mashed potatoes with those big potatoes or hash browns.
