Tuesday Notes & What I Ate Yesterday

Hey everyone, how are you all doing?
Been a lazy day so far today - watched a couple movies, kind of fell asleep during one. Had some breakfast. Now I am catching up online (here, Temu games, etc).
The weather is cold, but it's warmed up to 39 degrees - my computer says anyway. It also says it is raining but I don't see rain. We may get to 50 degrees on the weekend.
Anyways - I shared in the title "what I ate yesterday". I am back on low carb for now...hopefully I stick to it - we'll see.
My food yesterday:
Meal 1 - 3.5 oz steak with 1 egg
Meal 2 - 4 oz salmon with cheese and some ranch
Meal 3 - Chocolate Peanut butter Keto chow shake made with butter
Macros for the day -
Calories - 1,190
Protein - 88
Fat - 87
Carbs - 16
Fiber - 9
The majority of the carbs came from the Keto chow shake, but most of that is fiber.
I think I did good with what I ate, and the scale did go down today. Will share more of that in the next food post.
What do you think of the food/day of eating?

Having a lot of fiber is good, so long as you don't over do it. Fiber keeps things moving.

@MommyOfEli2013 It's an essental carb, so it's good that you're getting some. Protien is your best friend if you're trying to lose or maintain weight. It helps build muschle. So, it's good you're getting that.

@kaylachan There are no essential carbs actually. We do not need to eat carbs. We need glucose yes, but our body can make it from protein. I know many who are super healthy eating a carnivore diet (no carbs, just meat, eggs, cheese, etc). Yes protein is what I try to focus on getting the most of, moderate fat (though that's not easy) and as low carb as possible

I don't really worry about fiber...really the only fiber I get is on the protein shakes

It was good....just wish I could have found more of the steak.
Homemade chili sounds good. I should make some myself, beanless of course lol

You did a good job of eating. I don't know how I'd feel about a shake with butter in it. Have a good day.

Doesn't taste like there is butter in it at all lol. It's really good. But you need some fat for some of the vitamins in it

Salmon is my favorite fish...that's good you had some. Today I had tuna lol.
