Finally caught up on my reviews... Since her divorce, Emily Lucretia - affectionately known as The Flower Lady to the people of Cemetery, Indiana - has been focused on her flower shop and taking care of her aging aunt and uncle. Her love life is hardly the centerpiece of her busy days. Saul Culver, the town's favourite bachelor and owner of the local barbecue joint, has been interested in Emily for a while. But as much as Emily knows about flowers, she can be a little oblivious to her own appeal. Saul is determined to show her just how special she is. Saul isn't the only one trying to get Emily out of her shell. Well-meaning locals have started tagging photos of Emily with #theflowerlady on social media - and now the entire town is involved in finding her Mr. Right. Saul won't give up easily. He's finally caught her attention, and he's determined to convince Emily - and the town - that this is the real deal and not just some passing trend. ~~~~ I really liked how current this story is with all the talk of social media and hashtags. I also like that the trope is Friends to Lovers but as much as Saul was interested in Emily, he wasn't pushy. She wasn't totally oblivious to his charms, but her business and her aunt and uncle were at top of mind for her. And Saul was always there to help her with both. I know this is somewhat part of a series. The last book I read, The Honeymoon Cottage, also takes place in the town of Cemetery. I haven't been reading the books in order but I think only those two are connected. There is no actual series title. So this could be read as a standalone. This was a very sweet small town romance with some interesting town characters. A good read.

Sounds like a charming read! I love that Emily is strong and independent, focusing on her priorities while romance blossoms unexpectedly. Thanks for sharing the details, it definitely piqued my interest. Sadly I don't read these days..books I mean.

That's unfortunate that you don't read books. I've loved books since I was a child.
