Frugal Food: Lunch Date

We had some errands to run this morning, and then decided to stop at Burger King before coming back to the room. We were getting hungry on the way back to the room so we decided to go ahead and get Burger King. Chris got what we always gets which is a Bacon King meal with a medium Dr Pepper and a medium Fry. I got a $2.99 Honey Mustard Chicken Wrap and a 8 piece of Cheesey tots. Our total was just under $20, so while not the most frugal of meals. It was for sure filling and it was cheaper than most meals out. What did you have for lunch today?

That’s really not a bad price for all of that. For lunch today, I just had popcorn. I was waiting for my groceries to be delivered. Have you had any more Whataburger salads lately?

I had one last month, but we haven't really been going to Whataburger. Because there isn't one in the town we have been staying in for the past two weeks. We have eaten a lot of dollar tree micorwave food and burger king. Our latest cheap meal is the rotissirie chicken from walmart .

@thislittlepennyearns I swear Walmart starves those chickens. The last one I got last month was scrawny! But I love a good rotisserie chicken.

Burger King hits the spot sometimes. I usually will get a Whopper or the original chicken sandwich, unless its breakfast fare, and then I get a sausage egg and cheese croissanwich.

The original chicken is where its at. That has always been my sandwich. Even when I managed the store. Lol, I have a soft spot for them because the school I went to for high shcool and elem had them on the cafeteria menu. I like most of their breakfast, but I also really like the french toast sticks, and their hash browns when done right are my favorite.
