No thanks, I'll pass.

I have seen a uptick in posts about Covid, which probably means that people are worried that there is another strain coming out or out or however you want to say that. So I figured I would go ahead and say something about the vaccination and all that hulabaloo. We have not been vaccinated, we are not getting vaccinated. And we will never be vaccinated. Tell me we are dumb. Tell me that we are making bad choices, but guess what. It's still our choice to make regardless of how that makes you feel. Speaking as someone who has multiple illnesses currently and has dealt with several life threataning illnesses in the past, I will not be doing it. I don't see proof that it helps. Every single person that I have seen and know that has gotten the vax has dealt with long term sickness after doing it. So no thanks, I'll pass.

I can understand that. People get vaccinated and still get covid and some have had it mutiple times even after getting vaccinated.

I just told my daughter (and she agreed with me) that I'm not getting any more boosters for the Covid vaccine. I've had Covid so many times where I have been on my deathbed that I am living proof that the vaccine did nothing to protect me. I've gotten Covid in the same level of badness after the vaccine as I did before the vaccine. And I'm not an Anti-vaxxer. I believe in vaccines, but not the Covid one.

They wouldn't let me get it even if I wanted to. Because of my health issues, and the fight with meningitis I had a few years ago. But I have enough lung issues already, which may be because they never technically diagnosed me when I had Covid, they strung me along with about 30 different diagnosis, and then after two years of being sick were like oh crap you have pulmonary emobolisms.

@thislittlepennyearns Ever since I first got Covid I’ve had lung issues. I’ll get a simple cold and then will end up coughing my lungs up for 6 weeks afterward.

I think that in this (and in so many other things) everyone have to make their own choice. But nobody has the right to call the other person dumb for not making the decision he made.

Fair enough. We're all free to make that choice.

I think vaccination is up to you. I've had several over the covid years and so far, so good
