Where has the day gone?

It's almost 2 in the afternoon. I'll be setting up to give George his second feed of the day. Chilly is chomping at the bit to get out. As much as I would love to allow him to, I don't want him in my face while I'm trying to do the feeding.Sometimes he behaves himself, and I can do this with no issue. Other times, he's wanting to wedge himself between us. Last night, I made the mistake of leaving him out and he walked across me. I do syringe by gravity and Chilly doesn't need to knock me around. In other news, I bit the bulett and bought myself a m2 Macbook Air. I love my M1, it still works brand new, but magsafe is a game changer. Macbooks used to have magsafe, Apple removed it and now it's back. Not only will the magsafe free up one of the ports on my macbook, but I won't have to unplug it when I need to charge my tablet, earbuds or whatever else might need USB-C. Plus, as much as I love my Dell, I just need seemless intrigration. Without feeling like I'm chained to one place or the other. I'm not going to give up on my dell, but I actually perfer my macbook.

I think I'm adjusting better because of the fact that George and I don't have to be anywhere. This is his second year of retirement. The plus side to the stroke, he's not worried about the bills. Kind of.

@kaylachan That is good then. It is a good feeling not having to be anywhere and not worrying about bills.

Sounds busy at your house. That sounds like quite an issue keeping the cat out of your feeding business. I used to buy Dell computers but they became too expensive and many of the places where I buy my computers quit selling them. I have heard the Macbooks are nice. I don't use Mac system though. It's always nice to have a nice computer that you like. I always get a laptop. They are so convenient. I am on one so much I like to have a nice one that is up to date and has a lot of room although I don't store much on the computer. I use a thumb drive for storage.

I use iCloud drive for all my important files so they sync across my devices. Especially helpful when I was making use of my notes app. I also like that with Mac, messages are seamless. I can easily send and receive messages with ease. DOn't get me wrong, I still love windows and I'm faster with a touch screen. But, I've also been using Mac OS for a couple of years and have gotten my speed back.

My laptop will be 10 years today. It's either I wait for the inevitable or just make sure that i get some funds for a new laptop.

I can understand. With my windows-based laptops they couldn't handle the demand I put on them. I use this one sparingly, because I know that after an hour or two it's going to overheat or do something to force me to restart.

I would love another macbook. I had to sell mine last year to help with medical costs.

We had a dell once and it had problems and we called support which crashed our laptop and would not do anything from there. We took all programs out and took it back to where we bought it. Got a HP laptop and that is all we will get now. They help us when something goes wrong. Love HP. I have never had a Macbook Air before.

I'm glad you like your new Macbook Air. I just need a basic laptop. I don't need to integrate anything. Have a good day.
