In the Weeds on a Rainy Tuesday 3/12

Hello, all you Mylotters out there. I am feeling good today. We've got some sun but gloomy grey skies. We have had rain all morning.
I listened to some channel on YouTube regarding SS and Medicare last night and lost some sleep over that. I know that Republicans have been threatening to bring down SS and Medicare for ages now but with Trump possibly coming into the Oval Office it scares me. One more reason we have got to keep him out. Now that my family is doing so well and budgeting is much better I would hate to think what would happen to us if SS or Medicare was done away with. We would have no money. This is always a very serious concern of ours. Let's not forget one aspect of this that is very scary indeed. If you will recall many people rose up in defiance over the Roe v. Wade situation. They fought to keep what we had and lost. So this is the same thing that could happen.
I have only had to block one person all of the time here on Mylot. The first one was a blue bunny that harassed me way too long. I just did it for the second. Sad. But I can not put up with such rudeness. She is in the dust now.

I am hoping that he will just go away after the election. He said one time that if he didn't win he would leave the country. That would be nice. I'm afraid when he doesn't win there will be a lot of violence in the street and many on Captial Hill will fear for their lives. It could get very serious.

@celticeagle I wish he had left when he lost. But no one else wants him. I agree that it is going to be bad either way

Glad your family is doing so well with the inflation factor.
I sure am not ..cannot seem to get straightened out here no matter what.
But I'll get there I hope.

It is so nice to have food all through the month. We are getting groceries twice a month now instead of just once which helps a lot. Hope you do get your place straightened out as some point.
