There are lovely hot springs in many places in India. In Bakreshwar in Bengal there are lovely hot springs. These springs have come up naturally and there are geographical reasons for having hot water there. Many people place their legs hands in the water as the water has healing and curing characteristics.

thanks Xavier you take a cab and reach Bakreshwar by the Delhi Road till Durgapur and then take right turn towards Birbhum. It is a 3 hours drive from Calcutta
