I think daylight savings time has caught up with us.

Good afternoon.
This is the second day in a row George and I wound up over sleeping, and the second night that George had an unusual sleepless night. It's his body adapting to the time changes and the fact he's likely napping more during the day. His body is trying to heal itself after all. But, his mind is still there. And as long as that's okay, I'm okay.
Chilly was underfoot until he got his breakfast as is expected, and we're back and forth with the VA doing doctor follow-ups. George doesn't want surgery, and that's fine. But, if he's going to say 'no' to something we have to make sure his choice as well-informed.

Yes of course must be a well informed choice.
Glad you got a bit of rest then.

I hope you can get some rest this weekend, As long as George keeps progressing and I'm glad Chilly is keeping up with everything, I hope the doctor appointments will be all right and he won't need surgery,

It's not a matter of "if" it's a matter of 'when'. The surgery is to repair the parties in his neck and shoulder.

@RasmaSandra Thanks, because we'll need it. I can't force him. If he says 'no' then it's no. But, he still has some healing to do.

People are telling me that part of our restlessness is the weather changing. Of course they blame that on the weather all the way round. Bob is napping a lot but is also sleeping long nights.

At the moment, no. They want him to get stronger, make sure his heart and lungs can tolerate being put under the knife, before the topic can be brought up. He has a partial blockage that's obstructing blood flow to his left arm. It's enough that his false on that arm is faint, but not enough to kill off the cells in his arm. So, they feel like he has time to wait.

Yeah, it’s bugging me, too. I had been doing well until last night.

Same here. It's thrown me off. I've been giving George his blood thinners, making sure it's as close to 12 hours apart as possible.

Well, it always does. It just takes time. Humans are self-healing machines. Most things heal on their own.

I'm glad the doctors are up-to-date on what's best for George. Have a good weekend.
