I overslept this morning!

I wasn't going to go shopping today anyway, so I left my alarm on for 9:00am.
I heard the alarm go off and I remember thinking something like, that's the alarm going off.
Next thing I know, I looked at my watch and it was 10:10am! 
Oh, no! I said to myself. I got up as quickly as possible without making my head spin!
When I went into the living room I said to my Mum, I overslept a little bit! I had my tablets for my underactive thyroid, then I cleared everything away in the dining room from yesterday's painting.
Then I put my prawns out to thaw and put some old flowers in the garden waste bin.
Then it was time to have my breakfast.
After I'd had my breakfast I did my tweeting/Xing (is that what you call it now?) and then I did a few surveys. I was also watching the telly while doing all of that. Then I had my lunch.
So, what are you lot getting up to today?

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I.usually get up at 10:00am on a Saturday, but this morning I got up at 9:45am!

I managed to.get up.at 9:45am this morning. I usually get up at 10:00am on a Saturday.

@sharonelton You must have needed the extra sleep. Since retiring I seem to be getting up at 7.30 ish. Used to be 6.30. retirement really takes it out of you. Today we sauntered around and had lunch at my favourite restaurant in Paris, well, in one of my favourite restaurants. Spring's in the air here but it's very wet.

You still get up earlier than I do! I don't know how I managed to get up in the morning when I had to go to school!

I slept in this morning too, until 7 AM because I don't have to go anywhere. I am normally up anywhere from 5:30 to 6:30 AM most days. I have a hard time sleeping in, probably why I sometimes take a quick nap in the afternoons.
We just heard a loud clap of thunder, so the cold front came quicker than the weathermen predicted. We were supposed to get rain and thunder this evening.
Going to stay in, watch some old television shows/movies, and decide what to have for dinner. Made a ham and cheese omelet for breakfast. Have a blessed weekend.

You slept in till 7:00am! That's still way earlier than I get up!
I find it very hard to get up!
