I sorted some stuff out today!

I've been really busy today sorting stuff out to go to charity. My Mum went out at about 9:45am to go down town and get some money out of the bank and get some Easter cards. I wasn't up yet, but I heard her go, so I got up as soon as she'd gone. I had my tablets and half an hour later I had my breakfast, which on a weekend is porridge. It takes 20 minutes in all to do it, so I start making it 20 minutes before I'm due to have it, which means 10 minutes after I've had my tablets. i.e. If I have my tablets at 10:00am, then I shouldn't have my breakfast til 10:30am. So, when I'm doing my porridge I start it at 10:10am and it's finished for 10:30am. After I'd had my breakfast I was going to just put my jewellery and stuff that I'd left on my desk into the wardrobe with my other jewellery, but I ended up going through my other jewellery aswell and sorting out some pieces I didn't want or wouldn't miss. I kept all the pieces that have sentimental value like rings, brooches and necklaces that belonged to my Grandma Brown, or the locket that has a picture of my real Dad and my Grandad Brown in it, and stuff that has memories attached. But several cheap bits and bits that I won't miss I put out to go to the Oxfam shop. I put some of them in a tin that had been on my desk with some bits in. You see, once I'd sorted out some of my costume jewellery to go to the Oxfam shop, there was room to put the bits that were in my tin into the jewellery box. And I put some rings that I didn't want into another round jewellery box that I didn't want, and those are going to be going to the Oxfam shop too. When I'd done that I went to get my lunch. As my Mum still wasn't back from town I decided to make my own lunch. (Saturday lunch is the only time my Mum cooks dinner for me, every other time I do it myself.) We usually have battered cod on a Saturday, but today I got myself a salmon parcel instead, as I didn't know how long my Mum would be. I'd just eaten it when she arrived home! After I'd had my lunch and a cup of tea, I went back into my bedroom to sort out some CDs and DVDs to take to the Oxfam book shop. I wanted to make room in one of the drawers in my wardrobe for some videos and CDs from the Abundant Life Church in Bradford that I used to go up to sometimes. I went to their Rocknations youth conference quite a few times, even though I was already in my thirties! Anyway, I sorted out a few CDs and DVDs, and I made room in a drawer for the Abundant Life stuff. I didn't think that the CDs and DVDs were really that much, but when I found a bag to put them in I found I needed a really big bag and it was very heavy! I managed to take it into the living room, and I said to my Mum, I've been sorting some CDs and DVDs out to take to the Oxfam book shop, but I don't think it's gonna fit in the trolley! I showed her the bag. Then I said, I might have to take them in batches! Anyway, I took the big bag of CDs and DVDs back into my bedroom, went back into the living room and collapsed onto the sofa because I was well tired! Then it was time to get the tea! My Mum had bought a toffee cheesecake off the market. There were two slices of it, and my step-dad had one and my Mum cut the other one in two for me and her. It was really big even having cut it in half! So that's what I've been getting up to today. What have you lot been getting up to! I hope you are all well. Have a great night.
