A New Device

Oh, how lovely. My new DVD and Bluray player came yesterday. Such a small thing and the remote is like 2 inches wide and less than 4 inches long. I hope I don't lose it. I have been adding a few movies to my collection. I don't usually buy movies because they take up space and I am in the habit of waiting for them on TCM. They would come around somewhat annually and I'd just wait to see them then. But, now since I don't have TCM anymore, I am buying the ones I liked to watch so I have them. My grandson had a DVD player so I got to watch "The River of No Return" the other night but it had issues with the eject and I had to wait for him to fiddle with it and get my DVD back out. Poor thing didn't have a remote either so I had to get up each time I needed to change something and that meant getting out of my warm cacoon that I make for myself at night. Now I have a brand new one remote and all. It was only $59 and was delivered with our groceries. How convenient. I'm going to watch "Lady Hawke" later. Next month I will be getting "To Wong Foo: Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar" and a couple of other oldies but goodies. Oh, and I have "The Mirror Has Two Faces" too I can watch it. It's so cute with Barbara Streisand and Jeff Bridges. Any new stuff in your world?

I am enjoying my Saint Patrick's Day celebration by sharing good news stories on this site as well as completing surveys.

I have bought some of our favorites so we can watch them anytime. Streaming services like to change what they have on and I don't always want to watch what they have

I feel the same way. There are certain movies I want to watch and it is great to have them available and I don't have to pay $200 to have them available.

@celticeagle We were watching Haven on freevee and they didn't have season 3 of it. I wasn't paying to watch it. Went to Tubi and they had it

@wolfgirl569 ........That's nice that you found the rest elsewhere. I'm so glad that Tubi brought back "Le Femme Nakita". I love that show.

Just the MacBook I bought myself the other day. I posted on it a few times. Typing on it and typing on this one are like night and day. The ke keyboard feels so small in comparison.
