One Easter morning

When I was about 10 years old my mother did the usual ritual by taking my sister and I do get an Easter dress and new spring shoes to wear to church.
At night we close the curtains for privacy while we dress for bed and sleep as well as when we go out. So when we got up Easter morning my sister and I opened our Easter baskets, ate breakfast and put our new pretty dresses and pretty shoes on.
We all went to go out the door to get in the car and go to church and it turned to winter! Complete snow everywhere and it was very cold.
SMH! So back inside we all had to change into warmer clothes and boots!
My grandmother had said that one day in July during the early 1900's it snowed!

I hate winter and s**w. We have s**w on the ground right now. What a disappointment on Easter to wake up to s**w. Have a good day.

That is some vivid memory. My parents and I usually went to Easter church service depending on whether it was March or April when Easter came the weather varied,
