Three passengers whose gender was not mentioned are grateful that five University of Georgia (UGA) students who were near a creek in Sardis Georgia when a SUV ran off of a road into a creek when the five students who are all female jumped into the creek were Jane McArdle, Mary McCollum, Eleanor Cart, Clarke Jones and Kaitlyn Iannace to rescue a driver and two children out of the SUV that was underwater halfway.
The condition of the driver and the two children is not known at this time. They were mostly taken by an ambulance to a local hospital where they are being treated for their injuries suffered in the accident that is likely being investigated by the authorities.
I am sure that the city of Sardis will reward the five college students for their act of bravery and saving the lives of the trio inside the submerged SUV.
