Movie: Coach Carter
Coach Carter was first released in January 2005. It is rated PG-13 and based on the true-life story of Ken Carter. A former student and basketball coach at Richmond High School in California.
Carter gained attention when he suspended the undefeated team for their grades and behavior. That’s right, the team not just a few players but the whole team.
As you should know from my past post, I like to know how much of a “true story” the movie really is. It seems for the most part Coach Carter is pretty accurate when it comes to the real life Coach Carter.
Other than changing all the student names save for his son’s name and a few minor details of the movie, it is said to be true. The student names being changed was to prevent any embarrassment among the students and to protect their identity. The real Ken Carter was there for the making of the film to make sure that the real story was told and to stay true to real-life happenings.
The film is entertaining and inspiring. It is certainly worth watching. And Samel L. Jackson as coach Carter is great. I like him in every movie I have seen him in, and this is no exception.
I know you can see it as of now on Paramount Plus, Fubo TV, and Showtime.

Thank you for sharing the story of the movie Coach Carter since I like movies that are either based on either real life events or real life events even if some of the names of the characters have been changed to protect them.
