I can't believe he locked me out of the trailer W T ?
he knew I went out to the cabin to work on the desk-
top for awhile & for some reason (as he said) he locked
me out cause he "thought" I had went to bed, NO ! ! !
When I tried to unlock the back door, I wasn't using the
right key DUH?? cause I was so deranged of being locked
out in the 1st place, I forgot the ONLY single key was the 1
I SHOULD have used, but who locks their spouse out??
I asked him what gave you the idea I went to bed when I told
you I was going to the cabin? what part of that said I went
to bed? did you think to LOOK if I was in bed? NO.
Sometimes I wonder where this mans head is, I swear to
GOD I can't wait to get the cabin done where I can get my
life back where I need it to be to get rid of all my stress.
Not only that but he knows I can't have certain foods BUT
yet he cooks food KNOWING I can't have it, but you know
what ?? I just tell him you cooked that for yourself not me.
I thought the older the wiser where the flip did that come
from? cause this man has no brains at times & it drives
me up the wall I just don't know how much longer I can hang.
I try to get him to listen to the videos I listen to on what I
can eat & not eat but I don't think he listens to crap I have
to stay on top of, like it don't concern him or something.
KNOWING how close to death I was you would think he'd
be on top of this as much as I am, but I guess I was wrong
but that's alright I'll manage as much as I can till I can get
back in the cabin, which he was talking about today hum?
I told him B-4 I can get back in the cabin is we have to get
get the kitchen done with the base boards & the bathroom
done where when we get into the BIGGER part of it we can
put everything in there, in the kitchen to get it all done up.
Then after we get the bigger part of the cabin done where
I can put everything back in it, we can get the cabinets in the
kitchen & it set up where it's ready to be used when I move in.
I see what HAS to be done & to do it all to get everything done
where I CAN get back in there, but to get it through his head
is like knocking against a brick wall at times GRRRR MEN ! ! !

You do NEED that cabin done to get away though.

I know i do, but I have to give him the time to
do what ever he wants to do so I don't ruffle
HIS feathers (NOT MINE) I hope maybe if
all goes right he'll feel like working on it
tomorrow, I just hope what ever he does he
don't mess up his arm he messed up the
LAST time he worked on the cabin that
I've been taking care to heal it up.

Sorry he bring you so much stress. This is a good place to vent and get it all off your chest. Hope your cabin will be ready soon so you can have your own space.

yeah but I don't want to bore people with my problems
when so many others have their own problems as it is.
But your right I will be so glad to get moved back in &
I think (in his own way he will too) just not saying it &
if he's not he may not like the idea of me moving back
in cause that means he will be all by his self again.

Yes, they lose their marbles as they age! Mine is famous for mowing down anything and everything in the yard. Last year he mowed down one of the new blueberry bushes that HE HELPED PLANT. He said he forgot!! I get you! I hope his cooking at least gets better to where he fixes more things you can eat.

I told him not to worry about cooking for me cause
I can't just eat anything like I use to & I'm STILL
trying to get a list made up for me to go by.

Sorry he brings you so much stress, I totally agree he should have checked where you were before locking the door. Mine was always looking out for me, If it seemed I was taking too long at the store he'd be on his way to see what was happening and meet me halfway home. Best of luck getting that cabin ready quickly, I hope you have a good weekend,

most the time if I'm in the cabin which I TOLD him I would be
he would call to see if I'm alright but not this time it's crazy.

Sometimes you just have to let the cards fall where they may as irritating as that may be. The man is 78. I know a lot has to be done, but at 78 how much can he actually do? Do you think at 78 he is going to suddenly change? Why stress over it? The bed has been made. And if I can speak for most men, the more you bug him about it the less he's going to be motivated to do anything about it.
Either way, I am rooting for you and hope it all works out. But don't stress. It's not worth it. It's not going to change anything. All you can do is deal with it.
Unless you have a magic wand or something. lol

@2ndchances24 As the old saying goes, life's too short to stew over things you can't change. Glad you are able to find other things to do to at least keep your mind off things a bit. AND of course, you have this outlet here to let it all out and scream to the High Heavens about it. lol

I already know that, I've BEEN knowing that
that's why I just let things go like they do &
I just find other things to do while he's asleep
to get some of my stress level back in order.
Which right now he's making something to eat
& give him 30 mins to a hr & he'lll be BACK in bed
& that's when I'll go play in the yard doing my
garden I want to get started in a few mons.

I was hoping it would be a good day, but of course what "LITTLE"
that we done don't make up for a WHOLE lot of work that NEEDS
to be done, that's been put off so long I can't do CRAP like I use to.

Venting can help you feel better sometimes! It sounds very frustrating!
This reminds me of a time my father locked me out when I was visiting
I'd taken the dog out and he thought I had gone to bed. He was quite deaf, so I got pretty frantic trying to get his attention.??

Not only venting helps, but I also went out & got all the
crap on the front porch that could be burned & got it
all burned up along with 2 piles of limbs that's been
sitting for the past month & then some to get stuff
that I could do without him telling me to stop.
