Do you like chatting with friends?

Personally speaking, I do not chat much with my friends anymore. I am sure that they are also busy with their own lives now. Another thing is that I do not know what to talk about with them. It seems like their passions and interests are not the same these days. I prefer chatting with my virtual friends, like here on myLot. Image Credit: cdn3.vectorstock.com

For me, it depends on the friend I don't see friends very often but it's nice to catch up with those I don't see often and who have similar interests. The friends I see the most don't have many of the same interests. However, I recently discovered that one friend shares my interest in serial killers!

It is also the same thing here. I can spend more time with those people who have the same passion and interest. For the others, I just making myself torture being with them. Time is so slow when chatting with them.

@Shavkat I have friends who can make an hour feel like days One in particular will talk non-stop about nothing. It wouldn't be so bad but she makes everything so negative and talks like her (pretty average but slightly privileged) life is so hard!

@pumpkinjam I agree. It is like they have all the difficulties in life. They forgot that we are also having some dilemmas on different levels.

It is a good idea to visit them at random. However, most of my friends are living in the countryside or overseas now.

I do chat with some of my friends living overseas once in a while. For friends here in Hong Kong, we have gatherings occasionally.

I do have friend co-owrkers in Hong Kong, but I never tried to be connected with them after work. I guess most of them are busy when seeing and working with them in the past.
