Good evening everyone,
My hangout time with Eli was fantastic. He was (mostly) well behaved. We played games, listened to music, and we would have gone out to the park near our compound if it wasn't cold today.
Maybe next one on one hangout day will be warmer.
I'm hoping so,so that we can have a picnic and take the RC cars out for the day.

One-on-one time with children is so special and important. I did activities with mine, sometimes on-on-one, sometimes all of us. I enjoyed every minute of it and it just flew by! The years we have with our children just fly by so fast!

Yes, Eli will (technically) be an adult in just 8 more years, I still think of him as my little man.
The day may come where he's embarrassed by that (or by me), I'm just thankful that day has not yet come, and I'm soaking up the quality time where we can get it.

You still have to get through those hard teen years. It takes love and lots of patience.
You are so right to soak up all the quality time you can get with him, as I said, it goes by so very fast.

Last time we were out with them he had fun, we were racing them, lol. @jstory07
