Christina Shakarian who is a resident of Los Angeles California was an eyewitness to a bear who was looking for food in the trash can outside of her home on Saturday March 16. Christina has stated that the bear has been seen in her neighborhood daily looking for food since it appears that the bears have been losing their homes in the forest due to progress. At least no one has been hurt with the reports of the bears visiting the residents of the area. Link is upi.com/2071711039835 via @upi

The same with me that there are no bears coming to my rental property to eat food. Just a few dogs and cats.

They are hungry, but they can be very dangerous. Some people aren't scared of them and they feed them.

You are right since people believe that bears are like the cartoon character Yogi Bear.

It's good no one was hurt while the bear hunted for food.

Someone told me yesterday that bears can smell food up to three miles away.

And what would be wrong about filling a trash can with food just for bears keeping it as fas as possible from homes,
