Horizon Texas resident Evelyn Diaz is grateful that a Fed Ex delivery driver who was on her delivery route on Wednesday March 27 of this year saw that the Diaz home was on fire.
April Chacon who is the Fed Ex Delivery driver called 911 on her cell phone to alert the firefighters of the house fire inside of the Diaz home.
April tried to alert the Diaz family out of their home being on fire while a neighbor and herself used a firehose to attempt to put out the fire when the local firefighters came to the residence in about 10 minutes to put out the fire.
No member of the Diaz family was inside of the home when the fire broke out and was extinguished with damages to their home which will require the Diaz family to stay in a hotel for about one month until they can return to their home once again.

Alert and quick action prevented a bad event from becoming much worse. Well done to the Fed Ex driver.
