Saturday Morning Brief

Good morning from sunny, cold Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's 30 F this morning, but it's going up to 50 so it will be a relatively nice day.
So my plans for today in no particular order are, steps, nap, notifications, books, and watching TV.
I have the computer working so I can take care of the most important part of my day. I need a nap because I've been up since 2:30. I honestly tried to go back to sleep. However, my brain was active. I had no choice but to get up.
I have the notifications done, and I've had breakfast. So, I'm going to get my steps early and get back to work on the computer. Books won't write or publish themselves.
I ordered a new pair of shoes this morning and a pair of Dr. Scholls insoles. My left foot is fine, but my right foot wears down the left side of the heal making it hard to wear them. I'm hoping the insoles work.
Okay, that's the plan for today and what I've already done. If I can, I also need to get to the bank.

I woke up super early at 7am (well, that's early for me on the weekends) so that I could go outside and wash my yellow truck. It should be red, but it's yellow right now from all the pollen. haha. Anyway, I didn't realize how cold it was this morning (currently 48), which is probably nice to you but it's freezing to this Floridian. Anyhoo, I'm not going to play with soap and water until it warms up to at least 75 degrees, which is our high today. So, basically, what I'm saying is that I'm not going to wash my truck today.

I see you are a Gator fan...me too. My Tom is a Seminole Fan. When they play each other we have a bet. If the Gators win, he has to use or carry a Gator Coozy, and of course I would have to carry or use a Seminole coozy if FSU wins. Really getting tired of that FSU coozy! Only have to carry it a week, so not too bad. Even the carport doesn't stop the dang pollen. I have a 2 tone van..Tan on one side, yellow on the other. Getting too old to hand wash it...but think I will wait till pollen season is over before I go get it washed. Just turn the van around so both sides are yellow with a tan top. LOL

@Ghostlady Nice to see you fellow Gator fan! Do you live in Gainesville or in Florida? I live in Gainesville, been here ever since I came to the University of Florida as a student many years ago.

@moffittjc I live in Seminole land...LOL 100 miles from FSU and they have a branch of FSU here in Panama City. Been here since 1991. It is kind of rough living here sometimes being a Gator fan, but I'm still here! LOL

My day was quite boring and lonely quite honestly. I did get to talk to my husband which is good. I just don't seem to be able to concentrate enough to read or write. Have a good day.

Trying to think of something different for supper. Going to Walmart..need to make something healthy Tom and something he will enjoy...that will be a hard task. He went to work today...will worry until he comes home, as his BP was still a Little High. I have always wanted to write a book, I have so many stories to tell...but when it comes to putting them on paper and making them interesting...I freeze up. Had in my head a series of books called Taxi Tales, but someone already took that name for their book and Website. Anyway, would like to read something you have written. Have a Wonderful Day!
