In some countries capsicum are found in red and yellow colour also. In India the green capsicum are most popular. There is a lovely scent of the capsicum. My mother used it in chowmin, fried rice and mughlai paratha. It adds taste

The green is more popular in my home as well. My parents used to grow these in the garden.

The green capsicum is the cheapest here but all are readily available.

We have green, red and yellow capsicums. We sometime fill them with fish paste and fried them.

thanks Cheung yes the red and yellow variety are available in India also but are rare
